1. Who We Are

Creya is a creative networking platform that connects artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, and other creatives. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your personal information. When we say "Creya," "we," "us," or "our," we mean the team behind joincreya.com.

2. Information We Collect

When you create a Creya account, we collect the information you provide directly, including your name, email address (via Google), city, creative discipline, bio, profile photo, talent clip, portfolio photos, and social media links. We also collect usage data such as profiles you view, connections you make, and messages you send, in order to improve the platform experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve Creya, show your profile to other creatives on the platform, facilitate connections and messaging between users, send you important updates about your account or the platform, and ensure the safety and integrity of our community. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

4. Your Profile and Content

Your profile — including your name, photo, talent clip, creative discipline, and bio — is visible to other registered Creya users. Your messages are private and only visible to you and the person you're chatting with. You retain full ownership of any content you upload. By uploading content to Creya, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. Videos are hosted via Mux, a professional video platform. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, or deletion.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google shares basic account information (name, email, profile photo) with us. We use Mux for video processing and hosting. These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle your data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct any inaccurate information, request deletion of your account and associated data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@joincreya.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Creya is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate that account and delete the associated data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify users via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Creya after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For any questions, contact us at hello@joincreya.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Creya, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with notice provided to users via email or in-app notification.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your profile. One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted. You may not transfer your account to another person.

3. Acceptable Use

Creya is a professional creative networking platform. You agree not to use Creya to harass, abuse, or harm other users; post false or misleading information; upload content that violates copyright or intellectual property rights; engage in spam or unsolicited commercial messaging; share explicit, offensive, or illegal content; attempt to access other users' accounts or the platform's underlying systems.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Creya, including photos, videos, and text. By uploading content, you grant Creya a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content within the platform. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Connections and Messaging

Creya facilitates connections between creatives. Any collaboration, agreement, or arrangement made between users through the platform is solely between those users. Creya is not responsible for the outcome of any creative collaboration or professional arrangement initiated through the platform.

6. Reporting and Blocking

We take user safety seriously. You may report any user who violates these terms or behaves inappropriately. You may also block any user to prevent further contact. Reports are reviewed by our team and appropriate action will be taken, which may include account suspension or permanent removal. False reports made in bad faith may result in action against the reporting account.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@joincreya.com. Upon deletion, your profile and data will be removed from the platform within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

Creya is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or harm resulting from interactions with other users. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.
